本が届いたのが会社のコンペの３日前。熟読は出来なかったものの、この本のお陰でメンタル・コントロールができ、コンペでは、ベストグロス賞を獲得。当日は、本書の教えを紙切れに書いてポケットに忍ばせておきました。悪いショットをしてついつい切れてしまいそうになりましたが、その紙切れを見て心をできるだけ平静に保ちました。すると、ミスショットも減るということを、身をもって体験しました。本書には、そんなエッセンスがぎっしり詰まっています。少しずつ実践すれば、シングルもそう遠くないと確信しました。

逸話集としても楽しく読めるが、具体的な対処法にも触れられていて大変役に立つ。
メンタルゴルフ本はいろいろあるが、この本は説教臭くなくて好感が持てる。
ビジェイ・シン（ついに世界ナンバーワンになった！）もキャディバッグに入れているそうだが、私もそうしたい読者の一人。
あなたもそうした方がよいが、その前にまず、読まなきゃね。

心を鍛える事で自分自身がモチベートされる。心の基本を作ることが大切なことなのだとあらためて実感いたしました。ますますゴルフが面白くなりました。良い本ですね。
