メジャーリーグを見ていて一番不可解なのがストライキ。
経営側と選手会の対立点はシンプルに伝えられるけれども、なぜストライキという手段が成立するのか。

史上初めてストライキに突入した時の選手組合委員長ミラーの記述は、論理的で、同時期コミッショナーを務めたボウイ・キューンの自伝とは一線を画す。

プロフェッショナルベースボールのあり方を考えてみたい人には必読の書と思う。
