いままで、江面旨美さんのバッグの本は何冊も出ていますが、これは革バッグだけに絞った本です。初級、中級、上級と分かれていて、作る人の力量に合わせて作りたいバッグを選べるのですが、初級といえども上級に負けないくらいのカッコいいバッグです。よくある革の本は、手づくりのクラフト趣味であまりオシャレではないのですが、江面さんのバッグはショップ等においてあるようなモード系のバッグなので、『どこで買ったの？』と言われるくらいオシャレです。型紙も付いているし、作り方の説明も作者自身が描いた可愛いイラストなので、分かりやすくてすぐに始めることが出来ると思います。さっそく作るぜ！ＵＭＡＭＩバッグ！

２冊目の革かばん本として購入しました

１冊目は「手縫いで作る革のカバン」でした
こちらは、とても丁寧親切な内容でわかりやすく
まったくはじめて革カバンを作りたいという方にも
安心して作れる内容なので、☆5つをつけさせていただきました

それにくらべると、読みやすさや縫い方の説明などは
☆3つくらいかと思います

ただし、柔らかい豚革でおしゃれなデザインのバッグが
いくつも出ていて、若者向けにはおすすめだと思います

私がとてもうれしかったのは、レーシングポニーの作り方です
ネットなどでも作り方を載せてあるＨＰなどがありますが
どうも複雑で作るのを躊躇していましたが
この本に載っている作り方なら、材料も安価で揃いますし
日曜大工の苦手な方でも、６センチ幅の板１枚と木ネジがあれば作れる内容です

レーシングポニーの作り方が嬉しかったのですが
内容の評価としては、他に読みやすい本があるので
☆3つとさせていただきました

「革は布より縫いやすい」と書いてあるので、「ほんとかなー」と半信半疑で、初級編のバッグを作ってみました。ほんとうに簡単ですね。「縫いっぱなし」でできるんですから。
4本目打ちは800円台で買いました。これがあると本格的な手縫いもできるし（いつかね！）、布のバッグの持ち手つけにも使えるので、安い投資だと思っています。
よく読むと、プロ仕様のわざは、使わないようにして作品のバッグは作られているようです。
私にはとてもわかりやすい本に感じられたので☆5つ！
