編み物なんて、ゲージだの糸の銘柄だのめんどうと思ってる方にはオススメの本です。この本には糸の名前は載っていません。編む人それぞれがモヘア、木綿糸、裂き布等好きな糸で編める作品ばかりです。
肩肘張らず、多少いびつな形でも可愛く仕上がること請け合いの小物が沢山掲載されており、初心者の方から楽しめる１冊。
本を手にした途端、手持ちのあまり糸ですぐに１作品作ってしまいました。

こんなに色々なものができるの！？とびっくり。
「かぎ針編み」というと編みぐるみやモチーフ編みしか…と思う人は多いはず。
（私もそうでした。）
だけど、編みぐるみはもちろん、
携帯ケースといった小さいものからブランケット、
そして椅子カバーまでかぎ針１本で編み上げてしまっています。
それもくさり編み・細編み・長編みくらいの簡単な編み方で。
出来上がった作品はもちろん可愛いものばかり。
「シンプルなのだけどなんだか可愛い」ものから
「ウサギの帽子」のような、いかにも可愛いものまで可愛さもいろいろ。
ゲージを取らずに編む方法まで紹介されています。
編み物初心者の方はもちろん、編み物をするけれどかぎ針はちょっと苦手な方、
かぎ針では物足りない方、とにかく幅広くおすすめです。
無性に何か編みたくなりますよ。

　かぎ針編みを始めて、一通りの編み方はかじってみたから、
次は自分の作りたいものやちょっと変わった味のものを
作ってみたいな、という人に向いていると思います。
布を裂いて糸にしたもので作るバッグとか、麻糸のバッグ等、
とても素敵で作ってみたいと思いました。
冬が終わっても編み物したい、という方にお勧めです。
