大切な物は,なんでも,袋に入れてしまっています。特に,古裂で作られた袋ものは,大好きです。 仕覆,アクセサリー入れ,カトラリーケース,扇を入れる古裂の袋が丁寧に紹介されたとても美しい本です。使用している古裂がよく説明され,本の中で紹介されている袋の作り方の基本が全て載っているのは,手助けになり,ありがたいです。仕覆とは茶の湯で用いられる抹茶を入れておく器(茶入れ)を入れる袋です。茶道をはじめた当時,まだ 5歳の小さな眼にも, 仕覆の美しさが理解できました。本をめくる度,あのときの感動が蘇ります。この本をとおして,コーヒー カップ,急須,茶碗,茶入れ,手かがみ,自分のお気に入りの物すべてを大切に包む袋を,自分の好きなように作る事ができるのだと思いました。袋ものは奥が深いです。毎日使う道具たちが,古裂の袋で包まれ,着飾られた瞬間,いつもとちがったように見えるかもしれません。
