太い糸で編んでいくのですが、とにかくデザインが素敵。
小さなものから大きなものまで。
たくさんのデザインの中から少しずつチャレンジしたくなります。
小さなものは1時間ほどで編めます。
大きなデザインのものをいくつか編んでみましたが、大変に満足のいく作品が仕上がりました。
太い糸を使いますが、野暮ったさは全くありません。

初心者さんでも大作をたのしめる貴重な本だと思います。
編み方も細かくのっていてとてもわかりやすいです。

確かに太い糸を使用すると、どんどん捗って編みやすいんですけど、この本の良さはそれだけではなかったです。
まずはくさり編み部分と模様部分のメリハリのある、どこか文様的なデザインの数々は、今まで出会った事のない独特さを持っていました。

美しい撮影により目を楽しませてくれる他に、編み物の本としての工夫もあり、例えば編み図が一段ごとに色を変えて印刷されていて、段を間違いにくくとても編みやすかったです。
また、ビーズの編み入れ方、変わった編み方などは、それぞれきめ細かに複数のの写真を使って説明してありますので、初心者の方にもお勧めできます。

レース初心者でも扱いやすい甘よりの太糸レースを使用しているので
挫折することなく作品を完成出来ると思います。

作品の中ではドロップビーズを使ったものが特にステキです。
編みながらビーズを加えていくので、最初に数100個のビーズを
糸に通さなくて良いのも魅力ですね。
（編む前に200~300個のビーズを通していたら、それだけで挫折しそう…　(^^ゞ）

使用糸も手に入りやすい某国産メーカーのものなので
本さえあれば、すぐにでも編み始められるのが嬉しいですね。
