実物大パターンもサイズ展開があるのも◎ですが、私が感動したのは、何も特別な生地を用意しなくても充分にステキなものは作れますよ！という著者の主張です。手作りの愛情こもったものはステキですが、それ以上に手芸店に行ってアレコレ考えずともこんないいものが作れるのね~･･･と目からウロコ。浴用タオルで夏のサンドレスなんて作ってましたけど、この本を読んでなるほどな~と思いました。お宮参りのベビードレスはもちろん、肌着、パジャマ、コート、ベビーキャリアやベビーカーの布団、おまけに「抱っこひも」まで･･･。素材も使わなくなったマフラーやバスタオル、フェイスタオルなどを利用して作る服もあり。感涙モノの本です。図解もわかりやすく、ソーイング初心者にもオススメの一冊！

手作り赤ちゃん服の本を買って、 なんか違うなって思った人いませんか？。 いかにも手作りくさーい（？）のはイヤよって。 この本に載ってる赤ちゃん服は既製品のような感じ なんだけどお洒落で個性が光ってるんですよ。 特に女の子ママなら絶対作りたくなるハズ。 ボディスーツタイプの肌着も作れるから 男の子ママにもGood！だと思います。

みんなのレビューと目次を見て決めたのですが、実際の中身も可愛いものが多いです。　コットンを使ったロンパースやサンドレスなどは、今の季節にピッタリ。冬は、可愛いコートを作りたいなぁ。
使いにくかった点は、セットで材料がかかれてるここかなぁ。例えば、ランニング＆ショーツとオールインワンの材料が一緒に書いてるので、オールインワンだけ作ろうと思っても材料をどのくらい揃えていいのか分からなかったです。

シンプルで作りやすい、また、赤ちゃんに着せやすいデザインの服が多いと感じました。この本も含め、クライ・ムキさんの子供服は、子供に優しいデザインが多いですね。
