子供が大好きな「あっぷっぷー」や「いーぃー」や「いないないばぁ」などの表情を絵本を見ながら真似してみて！右側全ページにはアルミ箔のような鏡がついていて、子供が真似した顔を映して見て遊べます。我が家の１歳８ヶ月になる娘も大のお気に入りです。

お友達が持っていたのを10ヶ月の息子がみつけてもう釘づけ！本の中に写る自分に話しかけたり、手でなぞってみたりと一人遊びもできるようになりました。本当に小さい赤ちゃんから少し大きくなっても楽しめる本ではないかなと思います。

ムスメが５ヶ月のときに購入しました。１歳になった今でもお気に入りの一冊です。月齢が早いうちは「黒い２つの点＝目玉」と認識しやすいらしく、左ページのいろいろな動物の目玉を見ては右ページの鏡の自分と見比べていました。ベイビーアインシュタインシリーズ特有のわかりやすい絵柄・色調、子供に配慮した作り（鏡はペラペラのアルミ、本の角は丸い）、そしてなんといっても丈夫！なめたりかんだり放り投げたりしても平気です。ただ最後のバイオレット...かわいいお顔が隠れちゃって...残念！
