62歳と24歳・・・そんな物凄い年の差カップル。
そこに割り込み、横恋慕で泥棒働く３０代の横取り男。
二人が紗希を勝手に取りっこ・・・かと思えば、
「純粋」を装い、ジジイもオヤジもたぶらかしちゃう無自覚で淫乱な弟子。

要するに、ジジイの軟禁＆調教が、やがて三角関係に発展し、
ジジイに秘密を持った弟子は、余程隣の芝生が青く見えたらしく、結局ジジイを騙す側に。
日本画の大家の元で絵が描きたい・・・と、
何もかも不自由なく与えられた場所で、納得して暮していたのはどなたでしたか？
師匠のジジイも、ホントいい歳して　精力絶倫・・・気持ち悪いよ。
揃いも揃って利己主義で自分勝手な人ばかり・・・誰も好きになれませんでした。

最後もあっさりと駆け落ちの如くジジイを捨て、自分だけ幸せになった弟子よ・・・
あれだけ鳥の世話をしていたのに、立つ鳥、後を濁さず・・・って言葉、知らないのかい?

鳥、野鳥の事にはとても詳しくなれそうです。

日本画家の大家の内弟子であり、同時に愛人扱いで体をいいようにされている主人公・紗希。
タイトルにある「贄」の語感も相まって、隠微な愛憎劇を予想していましたが、結構あっさりめ。
仕事で屋敷にやってきた空間プロデューサーなる男に紗希が恋をし、師の束縛から抜け出そうとするのですが、この彼がどうも間男的で今一つインパクトに欠けました。何と言うか…三人とも執着や情熱といったものが伝わってこない、弱い感じがして。おとなし過ぎる。
ラストも割とあっさりしています。

同じ水原さんの日本画家をモチーフとした作品に「黄色い花」という短編がありましたが、そちらの方がドロッと理不尽で暗く後をひきました。

ただ、肉体的束縛や痛みもさることながら、精神的な抑圧や個性の抹殺がいかに人にダメージを与えるのか、という展開には激しく同感しました。
