読んで感動しました。学校でいじめに悩む子供、親、先生など、たくさんのかたに是非読んでほしいと思います。
大きな海の中ではいじめはなくても、小さな水槽のなかだといじめがおきてしまう・・・
まさに今の学校生活そのものではないのでしょうか。
道徳のときになど是非使ってほしいと思います。
あとがきの「さかなくん」の子供時代の話もほほえましいです。
「うちの子なんだか変わってる？」と悩んでいるお母さんにも読んでほしいです。
趣味もここまでつきつめれば立派に仕事になるんですね〜。

変な奴だなとTVで初めて見た時に思った。一緒に見ていた鉄道オタクの息子も変わった奴だと言った。「オイオイ、オマエだって「特急田中３号」なのに他人の事を言えるのかよ」と息子に心の中でつぶやきながら、さかなクンのキンキン声を耳にしていた。本屋で薄っぺらでイラストの中に短文が綴られた彼の処女出版を手にして、子供時代から今に至るまでの道のりを読み、胸が熱くなった。小さい時から魚が好きで図鑑をかばんに入れて学校に通った話、中学で吹奏楽部に誘われ「水槽」と勘違いして入部した話など笑わせるが、「変わった子供」としての苦労もあったに違いない。でも好きな「さかな」一筋に歩んで、両親の支えや周囲の大人達の深い理解があったればこそ今のさかなクンがあるのだ。やはり好きな事をやるのが一番。少し勇気が湧いてきた。

イジメに関する本はたくさんありますが、こんなにも優しい心が伝わってくる本は無いです。
給食の時間の放送で朗読しました。
さかなくんは小学生の誰もが知っている人。そのさかなくんが書いたというだけで、真剣に聞いてくれました。
夢中になれることがあれば、いじめる側になることはないと私も思います。
