正しいかどうかはともかく、とにかく使えてしまう箸。
自分が間違えていた箸づかいや、ほとんど意識せずやっていたマナー違反に気づいて目からウロコです。たとえば割り箸の使い方や、椀物をいただくときの箸の扱いなど、深く考えたこともなかったので。この本のとおりにやってみればなるほどキレイ。イラストもわかりやすくて便利でした。
箸のつかいかたに気をつけて過ごしていると、その他のことにもおのずと気をつかうようになりました。座ぶとんの扱い方、揚げ物や焼き魚の食べ方など、さまざまな和のシーンがとりあげられているので、応用がきくと思います。

失礼ながら、このイラストを描かれた方、お箸をきちんと持てませんね。

箸使いに関してのイラストが、39Pの「お箸の持ち方」のイラストだけが唯一正しいだけで、あとはすべて間違った持ち方で描かれています。
上の箸は鉛筆を持つ要領(親指、人差指、中指の3本)で持ち、下の箸は中指と薬指の間に入れて固定、という説明はいいと思います。でもこの39Pのイラスト以外は、親指、人差指、中指の3本で、2本の箸を一緒に持ってしまっています。
こんなぴったりくっつけて持ってしまっては、満足に開閉できないでしょう（笑）。
でもこの持ち方をしている方は「バッテン持ち」と並んでけっこういますよね。

この本の監修をなさった小倉さん、その辺までちゃんと監修なさったのですか？
監修なさって問題ないと判断されたのですか？
いずれにしても、これはまずいでしょう。

文章の内容はごもっともで、(たぶん)役にたつと思います。
でも、箸の持ち方はこれを参考にすると危険ですよ。

厳しい事を書いてすみません。
でも、ホントに期待して買ったので、ガッカリ度はとても大きかったです。
