骨髄バンクに登録する際、骨髄移植についてもっと知りたいという思いからこの本を手に取りました。
著者・大谷貴子さんの実体験が素直につづられています。移植を待つ患者さんの苦しみ、こちらからはうかがい知ることのできない闘病生活を知ることができ、大変興味深く読むことができました。
大谷さんは『元白血病患者』です。そして骨髄バンクを立ち上げるため奔走した人でもあります。骨髄移植について、白血病についてこの本を読んで一人でも多くの方に理解していただければ幸いです。

著者の大谷さんの経験を通して、
白血病や骨髄バンクが、
多くの方たちに
正しく理解されるように
願っています。

また医学は日進月歩で、
環境も変わっていると思いますので、
日々のニュースなどにも
敏感でありたいです。

移植のリスク、
卵子の保存、
についても興味深く読みました。

骨髄移植を受けるものにとっては非常に参考になった。
特に無菌室に入る前に準備するのに最低限必要なもののリストだったり、薬に対する症状であったりと著者が体験したものが手に取るようにわかった。
これを読んで、必ず病気を克服しようと思える内容であった。
