5.0 out of 5 stars ジョニーデップの本を何か一冊？の場合はこれがおススメ！, 2005/1/15
まず、値段の割に表紙の装丁が豪華です。
掲載されている写真はセピア色で、フルカラーとかではないですが、ファンには必要十分、オフショットも充実しています。
内容的には、プライベートから映画の撮影話まで、時系列に進みますが、出版が最近という事で「チョコレート工場」辺りまでの彼の活動についてほぼ把握出来ます。
コアなファンの方は、自伝的な本が今まで何冊か出ているので、追加情報的な感じになってしまいますが、最近ファンになった方なら、これ一冊で十分という感じで、読み応えも十分かと思います。

発売当時、本書を購入しビックリした事がたくさんあった。

毎回、映画の中での奇妙な役柄に惚れていた僕は
彼が元々、ミュージシャン志望でKISSやイギーポップ等の
ロックに夢中で自身も活動していた事、
また人生を変えたという本、ケルアックの「路上」・ギンズバーグ、
熱心な読書家等など、僕と趣味が似ている事にニンマリ・・・（！）

私的な事を書いて申し訳ないが、何故あれだけの色男なのに
役柄はいつも奇妙で屈折している感じで、それでも愛さずにいられないか。
本書を読むと彼の内面、その真相に迫る事ができます！

彼の役柄が好きで、少しでも気になる方がいたら
本書を薦めたいです！！
きっとあなたもジョニーを本格的に好きになる！

　今まで私はジョニーの作品に涙してきました。が、この本はジョニー自身に涙できる貴重な本。昔からジョニーを知るハード氏が書く本だからこそ良い！！ジョニーの作品への思い入れ、私生活の苦しさ、マスコミへの怒り・・・ハード氏の視点から書かれている場面もありますが、ジョニーがどれだけの仕打ちにたえてきたことか・・・。心からジョニーを応援したくなる本です。
