3.0 out of 5 stars 昔、ライブを見に行ったこともあります, 2001/3/19
　ロッキング・オン創刊時からの執筆者であり、傑作『苺畑の午前五時』の著者でもあり、あまり知られたくない過去かもしれないが元ロック・シンガーでもある松村雄策の最新エッセイ集。今回はロック以外のテーマ、「本」「酒」「プロレス」についてのエッセイを集めている。

　ぼくは酒は飲まないし、プロレスは松村雄策が好きな新日本プロレスや天龍ではなくＵ系（今だったらリングスやパンクラス）が好きなので、「酒」と「プロレス」の章はいまいち感情移入できなかったのだが、「本」の章、とりわけ小説家、佐藤泰志の自殺について書かれたエッセイが良かった。じつは松村雄策がロッキング・オンに佐藤泰志のことを書いたのがきっかけでぼくも佐藤泰志を読み、ファンになっていたのである。

ロックファンに愛され続ける松村雄策さんのエッセイ。ロッキンオン・・あったよね、懐かしいなあ。長く読んでいなかったのですが、久しぶりに眼を通してみると相変わらずですよね。笑いあり、悲しみあり。あたたかい文章は松村さんならではです。不器用だけど真摯な人柄が滲み出ています。もう還暦近いのでしょうが、若い頃はマッキーという売り出しで歌手をやっていた頃もありました。あのオノヨーコさんに「世界で一番ジョンレノンがわかっていない人」といわしめたのはむしろ栄誉ですね。Ｋ-1，総合格闘技なる新手のプロレスを無視して、天龍源一郎を褒めるその姿勢も味があります。私はもうロックは聴きませんが、変わらないやさしさを求める人にお薦めです。
