コミックスの１巻は双葉社、２巻はぴあから出て、また双葉社へ戻りました。
デザインもばらばらなので、今回は過去２冊もあわせ３冊まとめて装丁を改めたようです。
そのせいか困ったことに、旧の第２巻と新第３巻の間が数話飛びました。
以前から新刊が出るたびに買っていた私としては少し残念です。新しい１・２巻もまとめて買いなおすにはちょっと高いので…。

５年振りの第３巻。それにしてもギャグマンガで５年か・・・。新作が読めること自体が貴重という存在となってしまった人なので、新作が読めることだけで嬉しいのだが、連載物としてはネタ切れ感が漂っている。一発ギャグ的な面白さを持つ作品もあるけど全体としてはウーンという感じ。さらに言うと絵が雑。効果としてわざと狙ったのでなく、気分が乗らないから雑。そんな感じが画面から伝わってくる。江口寿史がこの「キャラ者＝プッくん」に飽きちゃったのではと思えてならない一冊だった。けど、ファンなので☆×３。

江口寿史さんの全作品を読んでいます。久々の新作単行本ですが、
「ぴあ」の連載からはすでに何年か経っている話が多く、
井上和香が全盛のころのネタだったり、すでに古い感じがします。
「いま」を描く作家なので、読む旬を逃すと面白くなくなります。賞味期限が終わらないうちにどうぞ。
これだけ新作を描かなくても、「新しい江口」を待っている自分のようなファンが大勢いる。
「キャラ者」のようなおためごかしはもういらない。
「最近の兄貴の作品は魂が入ってねぇんだよ。漫画は、くだらねえイラストや
DJもどきなんかより、よっぽどボロいはずだ」（真樹日佐夫の声で）
