ずっとこの、ひとひら7巻がでるのを心から楽しみにしてました。 読み終わったころには、目に涙が… なんて言うかこの作品にであえて本当に良かったとこの巻を読んで改めて思います。 まだ7巻を買ってない人は、今すぐ、 この本を読み始めようか悩んでる人は、絶対読むべきです。 全部読み終わったら心から良かったと思うことでしょう。

何年経っても古本に出さずに本棚に残したい。
そういった作品を誰しもお持ちであると思います。
ひとひらは私にとってそのひとつとなった作品。
堂々の最終巻です。

続けられるだけ連載を続けるタイプの作品とは異なり、当初から終着点までの構想・構成が練られていたと思われる本作。
最終巻である今回もその最後にふさわしいものとなっていました。
「引っ込み思案であがり症の女の子──麻井麦が演劇を通して成長する姿を描く」
これだけの魅力的なキャラクターが揃っているとそのコンセプトからずれて寄り道をしたくなりそうなものですが、
麦を中心とした物語からブレることがなく（唯一の例外が野乃先輩の話でしょうか）、まっすぐ走りきった作品と言えるかと思います。

そして何より、「読んで面白かった」というよりも、「読んで良かった」そう思える一作。
既にお持ちの方は今一度最初から読み直してみると良いかもしれません。
また、まだお持ちでない方はいまこそ手に取ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

尚、本編はこれで最後となりますが、シリーズはまだ完結とはならず外伝という形でもうしばらく続くそうです。
そしてその内容は、本編ではやらなかった上述の寄り道。
具体的には、麦以外の登場人物たちそれぞれにフォーカスをあて、順次1話完結形式で描いていくそうです。
他のキャラクターの掘り下げも見てみたいという欲求は読者としてもありましたので、まだまだ楽しみが残ります。

ついに完結の7巻。
内容は秋公演の準備から本番、そして後日談を収録。
ちとせ・麦・甲斐この3人の関係を含めきれいにまとまっています。みんなが少しずつ、方向性は違えど成長していく姿は清々しいものです。

主人公・麦が演劇を通じて成長していく姿は『メキメキ』という言葉がお世辞にも似合わない。
しかし、入学当初と比べるとやはり大きく成長しているんですよね。高校生時代の、大人に向けて成長しているが実感はわかないといった雰囲気が実によく表現されていると思いました。

『私でも変われますか?』(麦)

『自分は変われると信じられるなら出来る』(野乃先輩)

この2巻のやりとりをはじめ多くの場面を詰め込んだ最終幕にはずっと読んできた読者として感慨深いものがありました。

今まで買っているなら文句なし。地味ではあるけれど高校生が真剣に向き合う姿に共感を覚える方は手を出してみてはいかがでしょうか。
