音楽、特にクラシック音楽には「天才」とか「奇跡の名演」とか、甘ったるい幻想がつきまとっている感じがしますが、読むまではこの作品もそのようなものかと思っていました。確かに、二十分で協奏曲を暗譜したり、設定の年齢では考えられないくらいのレパートリーを備えていたり、という部分だけ見れば、予想通りだったわけですが…
感動しました。
天才だけでなく、それに感化された凡才が、お互い至高の音楽を目指していくという設定が、この作品が単なる超人の活躍する物語になってしまうことから救っています。そして何より、どんな深刻な場面でもユーモアが漂っているのが素敵です。たった四巻なので、是非全巻を一気に読むことをお勧めします。

この漫画はホント凄いです。

まず、音楽を絵で表現してしまったところが凄い。
♪をたらたら並べて記号として表現しちゃってる漫画なんかとは訳が違う。
絵を見ればそれがどんな「音」でどんな「演奏」なのか伝わってくるんです。素晴らしい表現力！

そして音楽への理解が凄い。

クラシック音楽漫画って色々あるけれど、音楽する立場からすると「それってちがうんだよな~」と細かな点が気になってストーリーに没頭できないことも多々ある。
だけどこの作品では、ちゃんと音楽分かってる人が描いてるなってのがひしひしと伝わってくる。
選曲もオタク好みだし。

そして何といってもキャラクターとストーリーが凄い！

最後、あんなに猛烈に感動させられるとは思ってもいませんでしたよ。

何遍でも読みたくなる名作。音楽を愛するすべての人にお勧めです。

高校生のときに古本屋で立ち読みして一気に４巻まで読んでしまった漫画だ。
今になってもう一度読み直したいと思い、本屋で買ってきて読んでみた。
２度目なのに大きく感動してしまった。
まだ見ていない人はとにかく買って読んで欲しい。
読み返すたびに静かな感動に包まれる名作だ。
