同じ著者グループが書いた『沖縄のナ・ン・ダ!?』は愛読書なので、「おおーっ、いよいよ離島版が出たか！」と、さっそく読んでみました。ガイドブックや旅のエッセイだけではわからない、沖縄各島のちょっと奥深いところが読めて、「そうそう、こういうの、待ってました！」って感じです。文庫だから気軽に読めて、でも、島好きとしては本棚に置いて、行く前、行った後に何度も読み返したい１冊です。

　石垣に行ってハマリマシタ。
今年も石垣島を拠点にして離島を楽しむ予定です。
ツアーや食べ物のガイドブックを見るだけでは決して分からない
その島の特徴や歴史、風習、島民の生活や気質など
お気楽に学べます。
まさに離島のトリビア
リゾートでは味わえない別の楽しみが出来ると思います。
行く前に是非読んでください。

いつも離島に行くときに利用する高速船、なんとなく八重山観光フェリーに乗っていたが、安栄観光の伝説に大笑い!
今度は安栄に挑戦してみたいって思いました。
穏やかな島民と言うべきか、なんくるないさの精神か、大ざっぱな人々に愛おしさを感じてしまう。
そんな離島好きには、たまらない一冊ですョ。
