田母神 俊雄
1948年、福島県生まれ。67年防衛大学校入学。71年、防衛大学校(第15期)電気工学科卒、航空自衛隊入隊。若い時分はナイキ(地対空ミサイル)部隊で勤務、その後航空幕僚監部厚生課長、南西航空混成団司令部幕僚長、第六航空団司令、航空幕僚監部装備部長、統合幕僚学校長、航空総隊司令官を経て、2007年3月航空幕僚長。2008年11月定年退官(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

とてもコンパクトに、戦後の日本の歴史や政治の問題点、つまり「如何に徐々に左傾化していったか」がわかる良書です。この本は、今のマスコミ等の洗脳によって、「なんとなく左」の思考になっている人には、刺激が強すぎるように思われるかもしれませんが、実は世界的に見れば、まったくまっとうなことを語っています。一人でも、多くの日本人に読んでほしい本です。こういう人たちのおかげで、戦後の日本の平和が守られてきたのだという現実を忘れてはいけません。

なぜ航空自衛隊の幕僚長が突然解雇されたのか?が大変疑問でした。
応募された論文を拝読したところ何ら間違いを感じませんでした。
永田町やﾏｽｺﾐの一方的な解釈に乗せられている大衆が居ました。
この本は、「国を守るということは?」「国土、領土、国民の安全を守るということは?」について的確に回答して頂いてます。
若い世代に是非一読を勧める一冊です。

この本を読んだ後、気になって、自宅にあった「教養の日本史」という大学用教科書の明治維新以降の部分を読み返してみた。
朝鮮併合、張作霖爆破事件、盧溝橋事件、南京事件などの記述が、
田母神さんの本とまるで違う。
そして、田母神さんの話の方が筋が通っていて、説得力があるように感じられた。
また、歴史学と歴史教育では目的が違うのだという主張にも一理あると思った。
歴史の専門家から見れば、きっとこの本はツメが甘いように見えるだろう。
しかし、田母神さんは歴史学を究めようとしているのではなく、
日本の国益のために一般国民を啓蒙しているのだ。
日本の政治家に対する辛辣な評価があるが、あくまでもそれらの政治家の一側面について述べているだけである。
しかし、田母神さんにとっては許せない「大罪」なのだろう。
左翼反日勢力からは攻撃されるだろうが、国民は、
真の愛国者の主張として耳を傾けるべきだと感じた。
