最近の大沢在昌さんにはがっかりし続けています。
社会的な悪を小難しく書かなかった分、この作品はまだマシな気もしますが…。

李さんの死体を見ただけで、勘のいい人には先が見えてしまう。
悪人たちの間抜けさも、間抜けすぎる。
大沢在昌さんの作品にありがちな、ヒロインが男目線でしか書けていない点にもフラストレーションがたまります。

昔の新宿鮫はおもしろかったのにな〜。
小難しく考えていない、スカッとおもしろいハードボイルドを望みます。

「狼花」で大沢さんが、復活したと思ったのに・・・。

三年前のやくざの組長誘拐。犯人は、当時の組員二人と、絵図を描いた謎の「メール男」、そして、東京湾に浮かんだ中国人マフィアの李。身代金の８千万は、行方不明。李の恋人の「Ｋ」が、その行方を知っているのか？元組員二人から身代金の行方を依頼された、裏稼業探偵「木」。更に、悪徳刑事、組長の息子も登場して身代金の行方を追う事に。そしてＫに惚れてしまった木。

面白くなるはずなんだけどな？何だろう？不満だけが残った。

とりたてて特長のない、普通の作品だった。作品の雰囲気としては、初期の「佐久間公シリーズ」に近い印象を受けた。
１．三年前の誘拐事件が起きた、２．その身代金を持った中国人が東京湾に浮かんだが身代金が消えた、３．身代金の行方を追ってその中国人の恋人をマークする、という内容なのだが、これだけ読んでも、ミステリーを読み慣れた人であれば、結末が容易に想像できるのではないだろうか？
とにかく、この内容で500ページ級というのは、無理矢理ふくらませた感じで、読んでいてつらかった。大沢氏には、他に数多くの優れた作品があり、もし未読の作品があったら、そちらを先に読むことをおすすめしたい。
