最先端のファッションや芸術の発信地として知られるパリ。この本はそんなパリのバスルームだけに焦点を当てた珍しい本。インテリアデザイナーの、さすが！と思わせる個性的なバスルームは、空間自体がすでに芸術作品のよう。光と色彩の豊かなバスルームの数々は、眺めているだけでうきうきしてしまいます！

まったく別の世界のお風呂を覗いた小さな写真集。
タイルの色合いが気に入らないといって、自分で取り寄せ改造するなんて日本の賃貸ではとても考えられない。蛇口やダストボックスにまでその手を緩めない、フランスの芸術家たちの美意識の高さに驚きです。
いつか自分のお家を持ったらこんなお風呂にするぞと考えながら楽しんでいます。

期待し過ぎたせいもあり、最初パラパラ見たときは、正直イマイチだったのですが…。でも、バスルーム作りのエピソードをじっくり読みながら写真を眺めると、最初の印象と違って、１つ１つの写真が味わい深く見えてきました。さりげないアイテムへの愛しさも伝わってきます。クリエイターのバスルームにしては、意外と素朴な印象を受ける部屋もあるのですが、こだわりと思い入れはやっぱりすごい！個人的には気に入りましたが、日本のお風呂のインテリアの参考になるか、万人受けする内容かとなると微妙に思えるので、星４つかな。
