ソウルメイトっていうと、運命の赤い糸の人を連想する人が多いと思いますが、確かにこの本でもそれがテーマにはなっていますが、家族や友人知人として多くの転生を通じて縁のあるソウルメイトについても説明されています。著者夫妻は治療院を経営するヒーラーですので、気のエネルギー感じながら、体の不具合だけでなく、ソウルメイトとの出会いにも役立つアイデアを紹介しています。実際に、相手とどれだけ多くの前世で出会っていたかを探る方法も紹介されていますが、その真偽については私には何とも言えませんが、著者のご主人が著者の癌を気で察知してヒーリングし、すぐに消してしまったというエピソードには驚かされました。運命の人にしろ、病にしろ、何かに依存するのではなく、自分自身の感じ方（フィーリング）を重視するというスタンスは、主体性があって私には共感できるものでした。
