子どもが何を考え、何を言われるとどんな気持ちになるか、なかなか分かりませんよね。でも、そんな気持ちを親が何気ない接し方で変わることを教えてくれる一冊だと思います。前作だと文章が結構長いですけど、これは詩や絵が盛り込んであり、本の嫌いな親御さんでも読みやすいです。

私の子供はまだまだ幼いのですが、将来息子とこういう風に向き合っていけばより良い関係が創れるのではないか・・・といろいろこれからの子育てについても考えさせてくれる１冊です。

実際に親御さんと子供の例をいくつも取って説明されているのでとても分かりやすいです。　ほとんどの例がアメリカ人の家族を元になっていますが、日本人でも他の国民でも子育ての基本的精神は同じだと思うので、あまり違和感無く参考になりますし、いろいろ勉強になります。

子供と一緒に生活していれば　時には感情的になったり忙しさに負けて子供の内面を見失いがちですが、この本ではもっとゆったりとした大きな気持ちでいかに上手に子供と向き合っていくかを　教えてくれます。
子供の成長に比例して、大きくなっていっても何度か読み返しても飽きない本です。　久しぶりに私は買った甲斐がある本だなと思いました。

まだまだ私の子供は幼くコミニュケーションが上手くとれない年齢ですが、息子が大きくなっていろんな壁にぶつかった時、なるほど私はこういう風に接してあげれば上手くいくんじゃないか・・と想像して、将来子育て・子どもを教育していく段階でのとてもいいお手本になる本だなと思いました。　　

実際の子供の例を取って説明内容が書かれてあるので分かりやすいし、親と子供両方の面からも見ているので、幼いながらもどういう風に子供が考えているのかなど知ることもできます。　

子育てに追われて子供の内面的な気持ちが見えなくなりそうな時、この本を読み返すことで私も　もう一度新たな気持ちで子供と向き合える前向きな気持ちにさせてくれる素敵な本です。　繰り返し呼んでも飽きません。
