シリーズ三作目、いよいよ佳境に入ってきました。
この巻と最終巻は、どうも「アーサー王伝説」が下敷きになっているようです。そのために、登場する人物もそれに因んだ名前が登場します。

本作では、ウィルの単独での挑戦になります。
重い病の床に就き忘れてしまった「詩」を思い出させてくれたのは、ブラァンでした。この得体の知れない少年の正体が何なのかが、本作では大きなポイントになります。
「詩」を思い出して、ウィルは「金の琴」の探索に立ち上がり、<眠れる者>を目覚めさせることを目指します。

この巻は、二部構成になっていて、「黄金の琴」「眠れる民」からなります。それぞれの最後にあるクライマックスの描写が、今までで一番良いと思います。やはり、盛り上がりが素晴らしい作品は、読んでいて楽しいものです。
さあ、最終巻です。
