絵だけですが、ソフトタッチな雰囲気が大好きです。
文がないだけに、本当に小さい頃は両親に話をつけて
もらって読み、少し大きくなってからは、自分で話を
考えながら読めるので、いつまでだったも、その時々で
違った読み方が出来て良いと思います。

スノーマンのコトを知ったのはいつ頃なんでしょう。
物心ついたとき…、というのは大袈裟だけど、いつの間に「スノーマン」の存在は知ってました…。
なのに！
絵本を読んだことあると思ってたのは思い過ごしで、絵本を開いたの、今日が初めてでした…。
スノーマンのお話って、字がないとは…。
なのに、じんわり心に残って。
４歳の子供といっしょにお話しを追っていったのですが、子供の最後のひとコマを見たときの、唖然とした表情が忘れられません。

初めてこの本と出会ったのは小学生の頃でした。展覧会で見て、最後のページを開いたとき鳥肌が立ちました。
それ以来ずっと忘れられない本でした。
１０年近く経ってやっと手にしたこの本。そこにはやっぱり優しく微笑む大好きなスノーマンがいました。
スノーマンも絵のタッチも、もう本当に優しい。あったかいんです。
この本には文章がありません。絵だけだからこそ自分の中にスノーマンの世界が広がります。
夜、眠る前に見るのがオススメです。優しいスノーマンがほんわり包んでくれるような気がします。

子供に読んであげながら自分が，泣いてしまいました。心がほんわか~と暖かくなります。子供はもちろん！大人にもぜひおすすめの絵本です。
