　音楽関係の理論書は少ない。特に最近では教科書レベルのものしかない場合が多い(良い本は多いのだが、多くは絶版になっている)。フーガについても同様である。

　この本は、そんな中で、貴重な理論書である。基本的な対位法の話から始まり、バッハ、さらにそれ以後の発展、現代でもそれが続いていることまでわかりやすく、それでも本格的に書かれている。日本の文庫・新書でこういう本がないのは本当に残念だ。文句なし。

　音楽を研究する人や愛好家から、フーガ(遁走曲)を小説の題名でしか知らない人や、なんだかわからないけど旋律が追いかけっこするやつ？というぐらいのレベルの人まで(そういう人には難しいが)ぜひ読んで欲しい本。

対位法の楽曲をＣＤで聴いて、分厚い和声がバンバン鳴る曲から、ちょっとだけ離れられ、ウツも去ってホッとする。そう書いたら叱られるかもしれないが、半分以上事実です。

パレストリーナは、高校時代から自分の声楽系の「抗うつ剤」でした。

ダウランドのファンタジーは、模倣のイデアとして、撥弦楽器ギター系の「抗うつ剤」です。

　しかしながら音楽書となると、和声学はかなり良本があるようですが、対位法となると、ホントに記憶にない。日本語で書いてあっても古代文字の本みたい。まして自分に言語能力がないから、行く先、不安と悲惨！

パレストリーナやダウランドの癒し系の曲とは丸で正反対。変なの・・・

でもこの本は読める！読んでウツにならないだけでも貴重。理解できるかどうかより、本をひらいていられる。精力剤ゼナよりやや安く、同じくらい？効き目あり。

僕など凡人にとって、この種の本を読んでいるということが、周囲から「変わっている」といわれるから、今のうち内緒でこの感激をレビューします。
もし知られたら「前奏曲とフーガわり」の本を買っただけといっておきます。ですからどうか、ものになるか否かは問わないで下さい、では。
