「豚の死なない日」も良かったけれど，こっちも良い。いや，こっちの方が，さらにぐっとくる。女教師の教育観にも心をうたれた。
残念なのは，前巻に続いて，家畜の交配シーンがあるため，どうしても子どもたちにはすすめにくいというところ。ああ，こんないい本なのにどうしてもっとみんな読まないのだろう？　不思議だ！

前作があまりにも素晴らしかったために
この作品には、がっかりした。

前作は☆☆☆☆☆を超える大作だったが
この作品は☆☆ぐらいだろう。

前作に大きく感動した方は
逆にこの作品を読まないほうが
良いのではなかろうか。
