私は、昭和３７年生まれ（1962）ですが、この本は、私の生誕以降、年別に、テレビ・漫画雑誌・世相風俗・流行歌等の、カタくない話題を、当時の子供の立場に立った文体で、ピックアップしてある内容です。様々な記事は、広く浅くで、掘り下げた考察や、何かを探求するといった趣旨とは違うので、特に新しい発見があるわけではなく、回顧的に、ああ・・そうだったな！などと自分の奥のほうにあった記憶の呼び起こし確認にとどまります。　平成になってからの編集のため、当時に書いたと設定される記事が、未来をもう知っているため、今読めば違和感ありませんが、本当の当時の評価と若干の温度差があるんじゃないの？と思うところや、当時は一般化していない「アクティブ」「リニューアル」という外来語がつかわれていたり、少し興醒めする部分もあります。話のネタにはなりますので、我々世代が、同窓会のお供にすると、会話が拡がるかな・・・って感じのムックです

以下の感想は、続編にも言えることなんですが、

取り合えず、先ず言いたいのは、プロレス関連の記事多過ぎ！（笑）
望んでもいないのに、力道山から始まるプロレスの歴史に詳しくなって
しまいしました・・・。

とまぁ、記事の内容には偏りやユルさを感じるところも有りますが、
それを差し引いても、子ども目線で取り上げられた出来事を中心にした
昭和史（後半）を面白く解り易く大雑把に（笑）確認することが
読んでいてとても楽しいです。

最後に、出来れば不出来な巻頭カラー記事を削って、その分当時の
ＴＶ欄をもっとたくさん載せて欲しかったなぁ。
そうすれば、この本の資料性もグッと増したと思います。

なんだかわからないんだけど、
パラパラめくっているだけで
懐かしくて面白いんですよ。

昭和と言っても古〜い昭和もあるんで、
全部ストライクゾーンというわけではないんですが、
一瞬、あの頃にタイムスリップしますね。

うっかりすると平成の前半なんかは、
もうかなり懐かし状態では…
人生なんて、あっと言う間ですね。
