前作あたりから完全な手塚絵、手塚演出に自分のギャグを乗せる戦略に出たことがまずすごい。たしかに秩父山など田中圭一本人の絵のせいでシモネタが笑えないほど生々しくなってしまったことは何度もあったが、その壁を「プロの漫画家が自分の絵を捨てる」という、ありえない選択で乗り越えたことがすごい。そして日本人の漫画読みのDNAに刻み込まれたスタンダードとしての手塚絵の効果は絶大だ。ひどいシモネタがスルスルと何の抵抗もなく笑いのツボに入ってくる。昨今の手塚先生絡みの有象無象のぶらさがり企画ものより、先生は喜んでるんじゃないかな。苦笑いで。

~　神罰を読んだときのあまりの衝撃が忘れられないので星は４個
　手塚治虫さん（他）にそっくりな絵で衝撃の下ネタ。
　ほんとうにこんな会社やこんなひとたちがいるのだろうかと　でも居るんだろうなと感じさせる微妙な現実感のある話でした。
　現実世界で誰かに勧めるのは気が引けるほどの品の無さです。内容のすさまじい過激さを絵で中和しているよう~~に感じます。
　ネットでしか他人にはすすめられませんが　おもしろいですよ。

驚くほど面白い自伝漫画。
自分の顔写真（しかも体重が２０キロ痩せる前と後、
両方とも！）をさらしながら、しかも手塚と本宮の
絵をシチュエーションごとにうまくミックスさせて
ギャグにするなんて……なんてすばらしい！

なんか、漫画家って自分の絵柄を確立してなんぼ、
みたいな小賢しい評論を受け付けない、かくも
やすーい表現！　そして下品なギャグ！　最高！！！

だってあんた、新入社員が「先輩がサソリに！！！」
って救急隊員を呼んで大騒ぎしているのを隣の建物
から見ながら「ビールもう一杯」ってできます？
俺はできないけど、すげえあこがれるよう！
