4.0 out of 5 stars 現在入手可能な最高レベルの教科書！, 2004/1/24
一般向けの本がどんどん出ている一方で、睡眠呼吸障害のスペシャリスト向けに日本語で書かれた良書は少ない。
日々研鑚を積まなければならない専門医にとっては、さっと目を通すことができ、しかも新たな発見ができるようなレベルで書かれた日本語の専門書がないのは悩みの種である。

この教科書はかなり味わい深い。すべての章で、「ああ、これは日常の臨床の中で見過ごしていた」と思わせるような記述が必ず一つは含まれている。
睡眠呼吸障害の臨床家に、日本語でどれか一冊おすすめを、と問われれば、当分は本書以外には挙げるべきものがない。

残念なのは、多系統萎縮症を含む神経疾患に関連した睡眠呼吸障害についての知見が少ないこと。改訂版では是非付け加えて欲しい。
