数年に一度、内容を更新して出版されている。

医薬品業界のことがコンパクトにまとめられている。製薬業界のことはもちろん、その歴史、業界規制、薬価などにも簡単では触れられており、幅広く現況を知るにはもってこいの本。

出版はこの3月であり、情報の新鮮さも保たれている。この業界は再編などが激しいので、すぐに情報が古くなってしまう。読むなら、一日でも早く読むことをお薦めする。

合併や再編成が激しい業界ですが、まずは１章にある「業界のしくみ」と3章の「新薬開発」をまとめて読むことができたので、ぼんやりとあった薬業界について、すっきりと理解することができました。

「規制と法律」もなかなか知るきっかけがないですが、よくポイントをおさえてまとめられていたので、ここから発展して調べるきっかけになり役立ちました。
