わたしは司法試験なんて全く縁のない人間です。別の世界のできごとです。が、
本書に書かれていることはしごく全うなどころか文句ナシの出来栄えです。
過去問からの逆算、目標を立てて邁進すること、人生の目的の見定め、テープの速聴、大量反復、凡人はスピードで勝負、モチベーションの保ちかた、期限の設定など‥‥

あやしい合格体験記などを読んだり聞いたりするより本書を熟読し片っ端から実行するほうがはるかに効果的である。
また前半の著者の失敗談も愛嬌を感じます。
大学受験に換算すれば本書を知らずに右往左往で地に足のつかないﾄﾝﾁﾝｶﾝな勉強を繰り返すよりは１０倍(いやもっとかな)楽に同じところ(点数)に到達できます。やらない道理がない。

著者は、知る人ぞ知る受験生バイブル「P&C方式「速攻」司法試験突破術」の井藤公量先生です。

一言で言えば、

「問題を解かずに覚える」

という受験勉強の方法論を説いた本です。

P&C方式との違いは、対象を司法試験受験生に絞っていないこと。
内容はP&C方式とほぼ同じですが、資格試験や大学受験にも応用できる内容になっています。

僕自身はこの本を読む前に大学に合格していたので、弟に読ませるために購入しました。
その弟は、今年志望校の国立大学に合格。
「問題を解かずに暗記する」というやり方が非常に役立ったとのことなので、この評価にしました。

実は私は司法試験なんかにまったく興味のないネットワークエンジニアです。
テクニカルエンジニア試験という、司法試験と比べれば楽な試験ですが、やはり論述がある試験を受験しようと学習しながら苦悩していたところでこの本を読みました。

まさに光明。
筆者の主張する「試験=暗記」、「考えることは時間の無駄」という主張は表面だけ取ると非常に過激ではありますが、本書を読み込んでいくと、「基礎的な知識がない状態でいくら考えても何も出てこない」「応用問題とは基礎知識の組み合わせ方の技術である」という意味になります。
基礎知識が暗記であることに異論がある人はいないでしょう。

また、勉強をしているうちに思うような点数が取れず、考えても正解となる記述に結びつかず、同じ解答の問題が二度と出ることのない過去問を解くことに意味が見出せず、「無限に広がる灼熱のタクラマカン砂漠をトボトボ歩くラクダのような気持ち」で、「いったい何をすればいいのか見えなく」なって「何かとんでもなく高等な学問を習得しなければならないような気が」しているような人は司法試験を目指す人でなくても一読の価値があると思います。

問題集を解かずに答えを覚え、演習は模試でやる、という本書の内容は全ての勉強に当てはまるわけではない。実力がいつまで経ってもつかない可能性もある。
