日本マーケティング協会の50周年記念プロジェクト「ＭＩ２１」の成果
を踏まえ、市場志向型組織に必要な３つの能力（市場情報の把握力、
組織内普及力、情報反応力）を分析のフレームワークとにしながら、
マーケティング優良企業の在り方を定性的に探った本。

改めて「市場志向とは何か」を見つめなおし、市場志向型組織になる
ための能力を９つの優良企業の事例を上げながら解説。
日本のマーケティングにおける学術界の大御所、嶋口・石井らが書いて
いますが、学術的な（小難しい）記述はあまりなく、非常にわかりやい
内容でありながら骨太な印象です。

市場志向や顧客志向といった思想は、マーケティングの中核であり根幹。
それをしっかり見つめなおし、組織として定着・実行するためには
どうしたらよいかということについて、改めて考えさせられました。

組織としてのマーケティング力を高めたい。あるいは、組織が市場志向と
なることの大切さはわかるが、何をどうすればよいのか、優良企業は
具体的にどのようなことをしているのか、といったことを知りたい
という人に最適。
マーケティングの専門的なことはよくわからないが、組織を市場志向に
したいと思っているマネジメント層の方、あるいはそうしたマネジメント
層になりたいと考えているマネジメント予備軍の方にぜひ読んで
もらいたい本です。

マーケターとしては新鮮な感じの本でした。
マーケティングの手法はだいたいわかっているのだけど、
そこからもう一歩進んで、
マーケティングをうまく行う組織づくりが必要というのは考えたことがなかった。

現場のマーケティング活動というよりは、
管理職の人がマーケティングをうまく行うための組織を作るための本かと思います。

　市場の情報をどう集めるか、それに組織としてどう対応するか
をテーマに、１０社の事例を分析した本です。
　顧客情報を収集する組織構造上の仕組み、製品開発での顧客情報の利用、
顧客満足を生み出すいろいろな仕組み等が、分析されています。
　花王、資生堂、積水ハウス、ネスレ、松下等、いろいろな業種の企業が
上げられています。

　マーケティングに関しては、ド素人ですが・・・。
仕組みや行動の変化、他社との連帯、顧客への対応・・・
企業におけるイノベーションとは、「こういうことなのか！」が、
目から鱗で、分かった気がします。

　プロジェクトＸっぽく書いてあって、読み物としても、
読んでいて楽しい本です。
　マーケティングの難しさ、その喜びみたいなものが、
垣間見れた気がします。
　読んでよかったです。
