確かにゴーン氏が行われた改革は記述されている。また他社の改革についても述べられている。しかしゴーン氏の内面が見えてこない。彼の情熱や苦悩が伝わってこない。そういった意味でゴーン氏の改革を知るには好著だが、ゴーン氏を知るには物足りない。

この本を読むとたしかにゴーン改革の成功についてはよくわ
かるが、その背後にはこれまでの日産の失敗があったはず。

これまでの日産の失敗が大きい分だけゴーン氏の成功が評価
されているだけではないのか。

その意味で、これまでの日産の失敗や陰の部分にほとんどメ
スを入れていない本書は物足りないし、他の日本企業に勤め

る人々へのメッセージとしても弱い。

日産復活の謎を解こうとして多くの書物が出版されています。日産程の大企業を蘇らせるには、なにか魔法をかけたのに違いない、と考えがちです。この魔法は特別なことではなく、今の日本企業やエンロンに代表される倫理観を忘れた企業が見失ったものを再発見させてくれるものではないか、と考えるきっかけを与えてくれたのがこの本です。有名なリバイバルプランの策定経過がとても印象的でした。日産で何が起きたか？鳥瞰的に知りたい人には、読みやすさから言っても最適だと思います。
