4.0 out of 5 stars 縮緬細工の最初の本に最適, 2005/3/7
色々な縮緬細工の本を読んで得られる技術的なことが、この本１冊にだいたい載っています。
これから趣味で色々作りたいという方には応用範囲がひろく、おすすめです。
お手玉、根付、針箱、袋もの、刺し子、あと押し絵と一通りカバーしています。
ただし作り方の説明は簡単に済ませているので、はじめての方は他に数冊読んで、なんとなく感じだけでも慣れておくと良いでしょう。
若い人は知らないと言う！？ぐし縫いなど超基本の縫い方も載っています。
ひも飾りの作り方と糸かがりは参考になりました。
お針仕事と言う言葉が良く似合う本です。

余談ですが、これに刺激されて昔のお針箱が欲しくなるかもしれませんが、あれはあまり道具が入りませんので、無理に買うのはどうかと。

昔よく見た小物、最近では目新しくうつる小物達。
簡単そうだけど、作り方は？と思うような、思わず作ってみたくなる小物がいっぱい載っています。
作り方も分かりやすく、かわいい布を見つけたら作ってみたい！
ちょっとした余り布を取っておきたい、と思わせる本でした。

とても美しい作品が並んでいて、お針仕事に憧れてしまう本です。
でも、お裁縫初心者の私には、この説明ではちょっと難しいかな。
何度読んでも解らなくて、私には向いていないのかと自信を無くしかけて、他の本を見たら「あらこんな事だったのね！」とあっさり解決したり....。
でも、憧れの本には違いありません。
