初心者に易しいお人形（らしい・・・私が初心者なのでよく知らないのですが）を４体選び、それぞれ順を追って説明されています。
全て、日本の住宅事情にやさしいサイズです(^^)
お人形のプロセスは全てカラーページで、絵付けの状態などがよく分かります。
（ちょっとお値段が張るのは、カラーページが多いからのようです）

お裁縫が苦手な人のために、かんたんなパターンのドレスを選び、こちらも丁寧に解説されています。
ドレスは各お人形にそれぞれ2パターン、計8着もの作例と実物大型紙が載っています。

初心者の私も、読み終わった途端作りたくなってしまいました。入門書には最適なのではないでしょうか。

石膏（モールド）からの作り方が知りたかったのですが、
「古関くに子の」と書いてあるだけに彼女作った石膏
から作品を作るということでした。
入門編らしい本ですが…。
