今までなかなか洋書でしか情報を得ることのできなかったIELTSだったが、ようやく日本語で実践的なものが出たと言う感じです。
英語学校でIELTSのコースを取っていましたが、そこで言われたテクニックのほとんどがここのは日本語で書かれていました。英語学校でIELTSのコースを取るとかなりの授業料がかかると思うのでまずこの1冊をといた後、とられるとかなりわかりやすいかと思います。

しかし、やはりIELTSは慣れの部分もあるので問題数をこなしていくには少し物足りないかも。ほかの洋書と併用して使っていくのがベストかと思います。

普通IELTSの勉強をする時は独学か海外から取り寄せた本を利用するが、この本は日本語でIELTSの説明がわかりやすく書いてあるので、右も左もわからない人にはうってつけ。listening, reading, writing, speakingテストに出題されるこの４つの部門すべてを網羅してあるという面もメリットだろう。ただ、サンプルテスト自体が２つしかないので、問題をがんがん解きたい人向きではない。

英国留学を考えている人で、初めてIELTSを受ける人にはとても良い本だと思います。傾向と対策を詳しく解説していて、とても親切な本だと思います。
参考になる本のひとつだと思います。
