収録曲を知らないまま注文したのですが、ウチの子が好きな歌”Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”が入っていたので一安心。
でも、今まで聞いたままわりと良い発音で歌っていたのに、歌詞カードの日本語ルビを読みながら歌おうとするのでちょっと発音がへたになってしまっているのがなんとも複雑…。
”おおきなくりのきのしたで”や”いぬのおまわりさん”など、日本語で耳にすることが多い曲は子供も英語で歌われても違和感があるらしくあまりボタンを押してませんが、カラオケとしても使えるので日本語で唄ったりもしています。
あと、ウチの子は”ＡＢＣのうた”と”キラキラ星”が同じメロディーなのに違う曲であることを「英語の歌」と「日本語のうた」だと理解していたようで、それなのに”キラキラ星”にも英語があるのか！と驚いたりもしておりました。
今後もいろんな発見をしていってくれたらいいなと思います。

３才の娘の大好きな歌ばかりで英語でもすんなり耳に入ってくれているようです。１６曲も入っているので飽きずにいつまでも遊んでいて、操作も簡単なので手が放せないときビデオなどを見せるよりもいいなと思います。
歌詞は英語と日本語訳と両方載っていて、サウンドはカラオケにもできるので日本語で一緒に歌ってあげることもできます。
英語の歌も外人の方が歌われているので発音等も安心して聞かせられると思います。サウンド絵本では一押し！です。

　　小学校入学前から買いましたが、あまりに子供が好きなため、すでにかなりぼろぼろになっています。親も大好きです。大衆向けの商品のため、歌にうるさい人にはあわないかもしれません。値段も安く、贈物としてももう一つ購入しました。海外の友人達にも良い贈物となるでしょう。ヨーロッパで生活をしたことがない人達には相当理解しにくいかもしれませんが、この安い値段で、これだけ充実した内容のものが楽しめるというのは恐らく日本やアジアの一部の国々だけの現象です。
　　表紙も堅牢になっており、開くとどこを押すべきか、開くべきか一目瞭然となっており、幼児でも自然に指が動いて聞き始めるという完成度の高い製品です。英語に親しむだけでも、楽しさいっぱいになれます。とくにドライブ中は後部座席で大変役立っており、遠出のときの必需品となっています。
　　
　　子供は投げたり、踏んづけたり、いろいろ思いもよらないことを本に対してしますので、できれば使用開始前に背表紙のところに透明か養生用（日曜大工店で購入可）の薄緑のガムテープを貼って補強しておくと、堅牢なこの本がさらに堅牢となり、大変長持ちします。
　　なお、数年だけ使うつもりで買いましたが、とんでもありませんね。小学校６年まで、場合によってはそれ以上長く使う可能性があることがわかりました。つまり10年近くは長持ちさせる必要がどうしてもあります。
