4.0 out of 5 stars ＡＰＶが理解しやすい, 2003/5/8
DCFは、WACC（Weighted Average Cost of Capital)を使った方法、APV（Adjusted Present Value)法、エクイティ・アプローチ法の３つに大別することができる。

DCFに関する書物の多くは、WACCについての解説が多いが、本書では、APVが非常に理解しやすく書かれている。WACCは「負債が一定比率」の場合に使われる手法であるが、APVは「負債が一定額」の場合に使われる手法、つまり、企業買収・事業買収時によく使われる手法である。

私はAPVを簡単に理解したいという目的で本書を購入したが、その目的は十分に達成されたと思う。
また、他の方がかかれているように、DCFの基本書としても十分な価値があると思う。

DCFに関する基本を網羅的に扱っており、非常にわかりやすい。DCFでのバリュエーションとはどういうものか、ということを知りたい人には最適ではないでしょうか。手許に一冊あっていい本だと思います。

ただ、実務で最も悩ましい、資本コストや終価の決め方などに関する既述は「即戦力」的な知識は与えられていないような気がします。数学的知識がなくても読みやすいように書かれている反面、実務バリバリの方には物足りないかもしれません。
典型的な「基本書」ではないでしょうか。

DCFはすでに常識といえるでしょう。
その常識を身につけるために具体例も多く網羅的な本書は役立つと思います。
