原価と売価が同じ豆大福とラーメンとドーナツを店員が落っことした場合、お店の損失はそれぞれいくらでしょう？→全部原価相当額だろうと考えた私は×でした。仕訳だけで判断すると間違えます。

財務会計では結果に写しきれない、機会損失やCVP分析とかいった原価計算の基本的な考え方を知るにはよいかと思います。

始めから終わりまで、落とした豆大福一個で会計の勘所を教えてくれます。
難しく説かないと判らない仕組を、判りやすい仕掛けで繰り返し繰り返し、教えてくれます。　儲けようとする人にも、儲けている人にも、儲けそこなった人にも自信をつけてくれます。
読む人と、読まない人が損得勘定の分かれ目となります。
「教わらなかった会計」金児昭・日経文庫とあわせて読むことをすすめます。

いつも昼過ぎには売切れてしまう評判の豆大福１コ１００円
原価３０円なので、１個売れると利益は７０円
ある日、店員がつまずいて１個落としてしまった
この時のお店の損失はいくらになるか？

誰にでもイメージしやすい分かりやすい例を糸口にして、機会損失やCVP分析といった考え方にまで言及している。平易な文章で読みやすいが、絶えず読者自身で考えながら読むことを要求される奥深い構成になっていると思う。
単に事実を記録するというだけではない会計の機能について深く考えさせられた。入門書として一気に読むことができる一方、自分の理解が進めばまた新たな発見を得られる素晴らしい本。
