妻の誕生日プレゼントに何を贈ろうか迷っていた時、この本に出会い、ほかの方のカスタマーレビューを読んですぐに購入しました。宝石を贈った時より目を輝かせて「すごい！ありがとう！！」と喜んでくれた妻を見て、正解だったと確信しました。

　いたるページに仕掛けがあり、飛び出すとびだす！！
今までの飛び出す絵本の観念をこわす、素敵な絵本です。
何度も開けたり閉めたりしたくなる。
じーっと、仕掛けの動きを観察して、
おもむろに「へーっ、なるほどー」と言いたくなる。
子供から大人まで、楽しめる絵本です。

甥（幼稚園）と姪（小学１年生）のプレゼント用に購入したのですが，
本当に喜んでくれていました。構造的に複雑なので，壊れやすいかな？
と心配していたものの，意外と丈夫です。紙質がしっかりしているんでしょうね。
ちなみに，私が購入したのは英語版なのですが，日本語版と違って，
子供に読み聞かせるということが個人的にできないというのがタマに傷です。
が，その点を差し引いても，購入の価値のある書籍だと思います。
