このお話には「百万回生きた猫」のような深遠な哲学も、「かわいそうなぞう」のような胸を打つ平和への願いも全くありません。
とにかく「おもろい！」お話です。初めて読んだとき、こんなお話を無垢な子どもたちに提供していいのか！？と半ば呆れてしまいました。

ええ歳したオヤジが子どもと一緒にアゴがはずれるほど爆笑しながら読んだ一冊です。是非ご一読を！

小学校で、読み聞かせのボランティアをしていますが、この本を読めばうけること間違いなし！

文章が、関西弁！テンポがいいのですがちょっと昔言葉を使ってあるので東海地方の子供達にうけるかどうか？？？おまけに私は、関西弁が、似非だから・・・はじめて読むときは、すごく心配でしたが、読み聞かせを終えて、そんな心配は、どこにも残っていませんでした。

1クラスに読んだら、評判になってしまって、あっちこっちのクラスから、読んで読んでとせがまれる始末！
それから、この本を下の幼稚園児の子に読んでみましたら、ちゃーんとうけていました（＾＾）

ですから、園児にも小学生でも1年から6年生まで年齢をえらばず、安心して読める絵本です。

２歳の子供でも暗記できるくらい内容が充実してます。
とにかく繰り返し繰り返しよんでとせがまれます。
火事はぼ~、氷はいたた、とにかく擬音語を親が工夫すれば、もっともっと楽しくなるし、関西弁がこれまたおおうけのりゆう。
絶対ソンなしの一冊。
