二歳の息子のお気に入りです。

物語の前半で、
さつまいもが土の中で生活する様子が描かれています。

来る子供との綱引き（？）に備え、おいも達がびゅんびゅんと水泳したり、えいえい鉄アレイを持ち上げたりする場面がとても楽しいみたいです。

真似して手足をばたばたさせて
「えいえい　びゅんびゅん」しています

楽しすぎて興奮してしまうので、
うちでは寝る前の読み聞かせは控える程です。

さつまいもを、わざわざ「さつまのおいも」としているのが気に入って購入しました。
はっきりしたカラーで子供の目は釘付け、弾むような言葉に耳も釘付け！
１歳半の娘は１日で文を覚えてしまうほどのお気に入りです。
子供が面白いと思う本は、親も面白い！

ピーマン村の絵本たちシリーズの中でも文字が少なく、日常の会話でも使うフレーズが多いので、小さい子でも十分に楽しめると思います。

４歳の息子に読んだら息子には本当に畑のなかでイモが生活してると思い込んでいました。

ちょうどイモ掘り遠足の時期と重なり２重に楽しんでました。

私はあの素朴な絵が好きです。
