友人に「ももんちゃんシリーズ」をすすめられて、初めて購入したのがこの「すりすりももんちゃん」です。
ひよこさんやきんぎょさんらが次々とやってきて、ももんちゃんにすりすりしていきます。
その場面ごとに、２歳の娘と頬をすりすりし合っています（笑）
娘も大喜びで何回も繰り返し読んでほしいと言います。

最後の場面で、ももんちゃんがお母さんの顔を見たとたんに、ガマンしてためていた涙を一気に流す姿は心に残ります。
娘も私もお気に入りの絵本です。

　今、特殊学級で担任をしています。そのクラスのある女の子が大好きなのがこの『すりすりももんちゃん』。毎月１、２回ボランティアの方に絵本を読みきかせに来ていただいているのですが、そのときに出会いました。なかなか記憶しておくということが苦手な女の子ですが、一度しか読んでいただいたことがないのに、それからというもの毎回毎回「すりすりももちゃん」を楽しみにしています。彼女がどこを気に入ったのかさだかではありませんが、こんなに興味が持続しているのは何百冊と読んでいただいた中でこの本だけです。文章の優しいリズム、絵本の暖かい雰囲気がいいです。彼女に代わってお勧めします。（彼女は「ももちゃん」といいますが、「ももんちゃん」です。念のため。）

柔らかなタッチのかわいい絵と、ももんちゃんと登場する仲間たち。
こどもがすりすりしたいお母さんに、やっと会えた瞬間、読み聴かせしている私も、そばにいる子どもも、ほっとして笑顔がこぼれます。
産まれた瞬間から、子どもはずっとずっとこんな気持ち。
小学校になっても、
子どもがいやって言うまで、すりすりするぞー。
子育てに疲れたなーって思ったときの癒しの一冊です。
