「サウンド・オブ・ミュージック」のストーリーにそって、 ロケ地紹介がされています。映画のタイトル・バックに うつっているたくさんの教会についても取材されていて、 細かいシーンまで、大変充実して写真撮影されています。

サウンド・オブ・ミュージックツアーでは、間違って 紹介されているロケ地もあるとのことです。写真は すべてカラーです。「サウンド・オブ・ミュージック」 ファンの方には、必見の本です。

私もこの本を片手にほとんどのロケ地をまわることができました。
実はもう、再訪の計画もしているんです。　とくに「ドレミの歌」の草原は好きな人ができた時に、訪れたいと思っているんです。

私はこの本をもってロケ地をまわりました。とても親切に細かく書いていただいているので、これ一冊がガイドブックとして十分な魅力があります。おかげでほとんどのロケ地がまわれました。
