SIDSは、様々な仮説がありますが、はっきりと原因が解明されていないことが実状です。この本は、医者の立場から世界のSIDSの発生率や発生した場合どのような対応を取っているかなどが記されています。現在の日本におけるSIDSの実状についてまったく知らない方であれば１度読んでみてください。ただ、世界でもまだ研究中で、原因が解明されていない為内容ははっきりつかめないかもしれません。SIDSの概要を知る意味でならよい本だと思います。
