フジ子さんの今までのご苦労が報われたことが実感できる本です。
本の中は、フジ子さんの大好きなパリ一色！フジ子さんのパリに
まつわる思い出話や主に夏はパリに住むようになった今、パリで
の日常の話やパリで今感じていることなどが綴られています。
そのお話も一言一言味わいがあってフジ子さんならではです。
それと共に、パリでのフジ子さんの写真もたっぷり。
モンマルトルの古いアパルトマンのフジ子さんのお部屋、カフェ
でくつろぐフジ子さん、散歩中のフジ子さん、サン・ルイ島の
もうひとつのピアノの稽古のためのお部屋でのフジ子さんの写真
等など。フジ子さんを通して、私達もパリを楽しむことができる
構成になっているとてもオシャレな本です。
この一冊で、私達はたちまち幸せバージョンのフジ子ワールドに
浸ることが出来るでしょう。

フジコ・ヘミングのパリにある二つの家（モンマルトルとサンルイ島）の写真や話、パリの街角、カフェでの思い出、そこで思ったことなどが綴られています。
他人の思惑に縛られない自由な、そしてある意味とても謙虚なフジコ氏ならではのストレートで筋のとおった思いが心に響きます。
貧乏できちんと食事が摂れなかった時に教会で美しい賛美歌を聴くと心は満たされたがお腹は満たされなかった。でも、自分の演奏がそういう人たちの心を揺さぶり、生きる力をあげられれば嬉しいという話と、何歳になっても夢に向かえばいい、遅すぎることはない、やるぞと思ったときがスタートだから。今よりちょっとでも良くなればいいじゃない、という言葉が特に印象に残りました。
