アイデア本、というと「アイデアの作り方」がまず筆頭に来るのでしょうが、個人的にはこちらの方が上、と思います。

著者は広告のクリエイティブディレクターですが、広告以外の業種の方でもすぐにできる、アイデアを手に入れる方法と考え方（アタマの姿勢、とでもいいましょうか）が分かりやすく書かれています。

書き手のスタンスも上から教えるのではなく「やってみよう」「試してみよう」が基本。その「やりかた」も切り口に富んでいます。

特に入社間もない新人君、異動したばかりの方にぜひお勧めしたい！

わたしは最近本を出版したのですが、この「アイデアのヒント」に出会わなかったら、そんなことあり得ませんでした。

いまだにトイレの中で何度も何度も（！）読み返しています。
近頃装丁を変更してサイズが小さくなってしまったのが残念ですが・・。

クリエイティブ関係の人は必須！そうじゃない人にもぜひオススメ。
あらゆるジャンルの人にオススメ出来る数少ない一冊！！
日常生活におけるものごとの考えかたにとても役立ちますよ！
この本の中で最も言いたいことは

アイデアというのは既存の知識の組み合わせに過ぎない

ということ。
この言葉が３回は出てくる。それだけ主張したいということだろう。
その言葉に関して、多くの事例を挙げて説明されている。
様々なストーリーが出てくるので、物語としても非常に面白い。
話がとてもユニーク。
文章も読みやすく、工夫して書かれているのですぐに読むことができます。

自分はこれまで、「アイデア」って天才しか出せなくって、アイデアなんて自分には絶対出せないと思っていた。このときの「アイデア」は「創造性」とイコールで考えていたけど、この「創造性」ってのも実は漠然とした概念やったわけです。

しかし、この本を読んで「アイデアとは何か」ってのがよくわかり、アイデアが出ない自分がいたとき、なぜアイデアが出せないかその理由がわかるようになったので、じゃあ次に何をしたらいいかってことを考えられるようになった。また、アイデアを考えているときに、「自分も絶対アイデアが出せる」って自分自身を信じることができるようになった。

これはすべて、「アイデアの定義」と「アイデアのメカニズム」を著者が明らかにしてくれていたからに他ならない。仕事をしているひともしていない人も、非常に役に立つ、楽しい本なので、是非一読を薦めます。
