5.0 out of 5 stars 高校生だけでなく、ぜひ大人も！, 2005/7/11
ひとつひとつの随筆などは短いのですが、一緒に付いてくる解説書を読むと、ひとつひとつの随筆などがとても深い意味を持っていることがわかります。学校の国語の試験の解き方を教える本ではありません。
心で文章を味わうことを教えてくれる本だと思います。
高校生だけでは勿体無いので、大人の方にも是非読んでほしい本です。
これからの本への接し方が変わる本です。
特に衝撃を受けたのは、淀川長治さんが紹介されていた「自転車泥棒」という映画についての随筆です。世の中で一番恐いのは、人間のちょっとした行動かもしれません。

読書好きほど読むジャンル、好む文体が偏ってくるようである。自分が気づかなくとも、この学生のために編まれた『高校生のための』三部作に目を通していると思い知らされる。「こんなに多様なテーマ、文体があったのか」と自分が井戸の中の蛙ではなかったかと身震いがしてくるほどである。本書はもともと学生のためのものであるが、多忙で自分の好む、あるいは必要な本しか読めない社会人にとっても、短文読み切りで手軽に紐解くことができ、日本語が本来持っている豊かな表現力、多様な文体の可能性を体感させてくれる役立つアンソロジーである。『文章読本』ではモーパッサン、ファーブル、プルースト、モーツアルトなどの翻訳から、武満徹、大岡昇平、坂口安吾、村上春樹、朝永振一郎、淀川長治ら７０塊??の書き手の文が収められている。途中に差し込まれた【手帖】と名づけられた編者のつぶやきや「作文の手順」「さまざまな技法」などの付録も有益である。

自分のなんともいえない心理、生い立ち、気持ち、衝動をどう表現したらいいか、わからない場合、ああ自分の思いはこういう言葉によって形になり、このように表現することによって、表現の喜びは得られるのだなと本当に感じることが出来ます。
