金持ち父さんシリーズということで楽しみにして読みましたが、期待外れでした。サクセス・ストーリーズと謳っていながら、載っている例は賃貸不動産で小遣い稼ぎをしているアメリカの小市民ばかり。この程度しか成功例として挙げるものがないのか、と正直がっかりです。訳文が、以前シリーズを担当されていた白根さんのものほどこなれていないのも、興をそぐ一因かと思います。

　「お金持ちになる方法を手っ取り早く知るための本ではない。」「まねをするのではなく、自分の方法を考えろ」と前書きでくぎをさしている。
　それでも、25人の証言を載せることの意味は、金持ち父さんの教えが正しいと証明することであろう。
　また、自分と同じような状況であったり、悩みを抱えていた人たちがいかにしてそれを克服したかを示すことにより、もっと多くの人が金持ちになるための「自分の道」を探し始めてほしいという願いを込めているのではないかと思う。
　アメリカ人なのに似たような悩みを持っている人がいるなあと思った。

金持ち父さんの教えをもとに成功した人々の事例が書かれています。この本のほとんどはこのような成功事例が書かれているだけで、そこから何を学ぶかは読んだ人によるものと思います。

金持ち父さん貧乏父さんのシリーズとして期待をして読むと、他のシリーズの様に特に何か投資哲学が書かれているわけではないので少々がっかりします。しかしながら、内容的には読みやすく面白いので、金持ち父さんから学んだ投資哲学を生かした人の事例集として読めば、モチベーションを上げるのには良いかもしれません
